On The Rocks Bed & Breakfast was a delightful place to stay in Gansbaai. The database provided accurate information about the hotel and its amenities. The room I stayed in, Lily Room, had a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Waking up to the stunning scenery was a highlight of my stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, making for a pleasant and relaxing environment.

While my overall experience was great, there was one minor inconvenience during my stay. The shower facility in the Lily Room was not up to par.

The location was absolutely perfect with a jaw-dropping view of the ocean crashing against the rocks. The good-sized room had a fantastic view and comfortable beds facing the ocean. The friendly hosts, Tinus and Sylvia, provided excellent local knowledge. The breakfast made by their housekeeper, Tembisa, was superb and she went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The lights were on during loadshedding. The complementary amenities, like the coffee with a sunset view, were a nice touch. The clean pool and beach access added to the overall experience. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and even helped us heat our food during a power outage. The entire stay was mind-blowingly amazing!

I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel as the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the location was amazing for wildlife watching. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and the parking facilities were secure.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, providing a picturesque vista of the sea with the sound of waves lulling us to sleep at night. the staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel right at home. The breakfast served was delicious, offering a range of options to suit different tastes.

We encountered a few issues during our stay that put a damper on things. there were some problems with the plumbing in our room, resulting in a lack of hot water and unpleasant smells.

The room was well-appointed and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I needed, including ironing facilities and an electric kettle. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The free wi-fi in the rooms was a great added bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my visit. The hotel also had a beautiful swimming pool and a sun terrace, perfect for relaxing in the warm weather. this place provided a luxurious and comfortable experience that was truly unforgettable.

We had a lovely romantic escape with breathtaking views over the bay and a chance to see southern right whales play. It was great to have the opportunity to enjoy walks in either direction with great photo opportunities. It was nice to have a delicious and freshly prepared breakfast.

The parking space was tiny and not very convenient to park a big car. Our room could have had a bigger bed and the bathroom could have been more spacious and private.

We didn't find the bathroom attached to our room, which was inconvenient.
